Started B.Sc at SLIIT
Began pursuing a B.Sc (Hons) in Information Technology at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Faculty of Computing. Completed the first year with a strong foundation in programming, OOP, databases, data structures, and web development, while gaining practical experience through projects and exploring UI/UX and software engineering principles.
Second Year at SLIIT
Strengthened skills in full-stack web development, advanced database management, software engineering practices, and performance optimization through hands-on projects and collaborative learning.
Software Engineering Intern at SLT Mobitel
Completed a 6-month internship engineering secure MERN-stack enterprise applications. Focused on backend API optimization, high-volume database queries (PostgreSQL/MongoDB), and building responsive user interfaces for real-time operational analytics.
Completed Third Year
Successfully finished the third year, spearheading major full-stack projects including a Smart Campus Operations Hub, a Next.js Travel & Transport Platform, and an AI-integrated Smart Hostel Management System utilizing robust CI/CD pipelines.
Fourth Year at SLIIT
Currently in the fourth and final year of my B.Sc (Hons) in Information Technology. Focusing on advanced software architecture, scalable system design, and preparing for a full-time career as a Software Engineer.
